I understand that most digipak albums include a lyric book within them. As lyric books can outline all the songs in more detail so that the audience know about each song. Lyric Books also contain various information about the artist as well so this can also allow the audience to learn and understand more about them in relation to the release of their albums.

 

As we can see I haven't included a lyric book space within my digipak, this is because I wanted to keep as much as I could in line with my sketched plan as I wanted to include more images on my digipak. This resulted in me therefore not having one. However the only space I would put the lyric book if I needed to would be in the top right of the digipak shown above. But because of how I wanted one image to stretch across 3 panels of my digipak this then resulted in me not including one else not the image would be covered by this and would take away the impact of what I wanted from my product.

This therefore shows how I understand the use of having a lyric book, but the reasoning why my digipak product couldn't include one.
