Replica of an existing magazine poster
The magazine poster in which I decided to use is "Olly Murs". I have chosen this because I neededto choose someone from my chosen genre "Pop" and Olly Murs was within this genre.
However, the poster is quite bare, including the artist himself and special effects. I chose the ppsteras it was simple to re-design as a first attempt and simple to replicate.
For this, I used myself as the artist as I worked with "Bethany Edwards" who is also a Media Studnt in my class. So this meant it made sense for me being the model as Olly Murs.
We followed similar steps in which producers would of done in thid actual poster creation. Me myself as the model did recreate his poses as well to replicate this as an accurate as we could do this to the orginal poster.
However, both me and Bethany have a lack of knowledge when it comes to using photoshop, completing this poster replica did become a difficult task when doing it on this software.
Furthermore, the general positioning of the different elements wasnt to challenging, as we used accurate eyes in order to reproduce this poster and the aspects of the poster weren't to difficult to layer on top of each other.
When doing this by using the colour for our "orange" matching tool, meaning that our recreation became more accurate with the orginal poster, looking similar to its design.
